## Recommended Software: GammaOS GammaOS (based on LineageOS 19.1 / Android 12) is the preferred custom firmware for the RG505 / RG505M.

### Performance Modes (Hotkey) Hold **R3 + L1 + R1** to cycle between: – Max Performance – Normal Performance – Power Save

### Button Layout Toggle Hold **L3 + L1 + R1** to switch between Xbox and Nintendo button layouts. Setting is remembered after reboot.

## RetroArch Controls (GammaOS) – Hotkey: **Select** button – Open RetroArch menu: **L3 + R3** – While holding hotkey (Select): – L1 = Slow motion – L2 = Load state – R2 = Save state – R1 = Fast forward – X = Show FPS – Y = Screenshot

## Notes – BIOS files for RetroArch systems must be added manually. – SafetyNet / Zygisk can be enabled in Magisk settings if needed for certain apps/games. – No built-in button-to-on-screen mapping tool — alternatives available in the Play Store / Aurora Store.
